Far Cry 4 had an amazing story, with pretty well written characters for the most part. The story is also not as compelling as Far Cry 4's. He dosent really feel like an actual character to me, more or less just feels like a thrown in reason for being in this world. I think the voice actor did amazing with what he was given for the main villain, but something just feels off about this character itself. He's also not very compelling when he is on screen. In fact, I think I knew more about his family than I did about him. I'm not saying Far Cry 5 should've been a horror game, but it definitely could've benefited from more.creepy concepts.įirst off, the main villain is barely in the game. There could've been a fear in fry Cry that wasn't present in Far Cry 4, something new! Cults are fucking terrifying, they could've used that to their advantage! It could've done so much with the cult aspect of the game. Well, a lot of potential is wasted in my opinion. A cult as the main enemy? Sign me up! That's gotta have a lot of potential! So, I was definitely excited to see what Far Cry 5 had to offer. I decided to buy Far Cry 4 first, and absolutely enjoyed it.

FAR CRY 5 BIT SERIES
Before I continue this post, I overall did enjoy Far Cry 5, but in many ways it does feel like a downgrade.įar Cry is a series I barely tipped my toes in more recently.
